Now, we're looking for a driven
Assistant Management Accountant
to join our expanding Finance team and support the Financial Controller & Finance Manager. This newly created role will play a key part in producing management accounts, forecasts, and performance reports that help shape strategic decisions and fuel our next stage of growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Support the production of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
* Prepare variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and post journals (e.g. accruals, prepayments).
* Review purchase invoice postings to ensure correct nominal coding.
* Assist with quarterly VAT returns, year-end accounts, audits and tax queries.
* Contribute to budgeting, planning, and financial forecasting.
* Provide weekly KPI reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis.
* Support finance-related projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
* Work with the Financial Controller and Finance Manager to enhance reporting and business insights.
What You'll Bring:
* Actively studying, or looking to start, AAT/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
* Experience with Sage 200 (or similar) is desirable.
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
* Proactive, resilient, and confident working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
* Knowledge of stock accounting and multi-currency transactions (preferred but not essential).
