Description
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
* Process balance sheet reconciliations
* P&L and cashflow analysis
* Monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals
* Provide detailed variance analysis
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations
* Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed
* Support the wider team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis tasks
* Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
* Full reconciliation of bank accounts across allocated entities, ensuring accurate cash and net debt reporting
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A recognised qualification in accounting or finance ACCA or CIMA - OR qualified by experience.
* Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
