We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a supportive team based in Swinton. This role involves a range of transactional finance duties and supporting month-end processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with Accounts Assistant or similar experience who is looking to develop their career in a professional environment. Key responsibilities: Process purchase invoices, match to orders/delivery notes, and maintain supplier accounts Prepare supplier payments, reconcile statements, and resolve queries Raise sales invoices, allocate payments, and manage debtor balances Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations Complete balance sheet reconciliations Post journals and resolve discrepancies Support month-end reporting and audit preparation General finance and administrative support Person Specification: Strong organisational and administrative skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential Benefits: Company pension scheme Flexible working 25 days holidays bank Free on site parking Company discounts
