Description About the Role We are seeking a proactive and experienced WHS Officer on a permanent part time basis to support the development and delivery of a strong, organisation-wide Work Health & Safety framework across MannaCare. This role plays a key part in building a positive safety culture, strengthening compliance, and supporting the wellbeing of staff, residents, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Manage WHS systems including incident reporting, risk registers, and compliance reporting Conduct site safety inspections across MannaCare Deliver and/or organise WHS training and support staff safety capability and onboarding Develop and maintain Safe Work Procedures and risk assessments Support psychosocial safety and workplace wellbeing initiatives Lead WHS audits and ensure compliance with legislation and aged care standards Manage WorkCover claims and Return to Work processes Conduct ergonomic assessments across workplace and home-based roles What We Offer Permanent part-time role at 0.8 FTE Competitive salary: $100,000 FTE (pro-rata) Superannuation Salary packaging benefits Opportunity to make meaningful impact across a values-based aged care organisation Supportive leadership team and collaborative workplace culture Free parking onsite and convenient access to shops and public transport Skills And Experiences About You You hold a degree or diploma in Work, Health & Safety Demonstrated knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation Holds a current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR certification Minimum 2–3 years WHS experience in a multi-site or operational environment Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, disability, or community services You are a practical, hands-on WHS professional who enjoys being visible across sites and working directly with staff You are confident communicating and building relationships across all levels, from frontline staff to executive leadership
