Key Responsibilities: * Provide communication support using British Sign Language (BSL) for Deaf or hearing-impaired service users. * Assist service users with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility where required. * Support individuals to access community services, appointments, education, or employment opportunities. * Facilitate clear communication between service users, staff, healthcare professionals, and family members. * Encourage independence, confidence, and social participation. * Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational policies. Skills and Qualifications * British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (essential). * Previous experience working with Deaf or hearing-impaired individuals preferred. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices. Requirements: * Experience in healthcare, supported living, or social care settings. * Knowledge of Deaf culture and community. * First Aid training. * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
