Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Contracts Advisor / Officer. An established and growing engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to support commercial governance and project delivery across a diverse industrial client base.
This is a key role working closely with technical, finance, project and business development teams to manage contractual risk, support bids and proposals, and strengthen commercial processes as the business expands into new regions and sectors.
This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to take ownership, and drive the improvement of contract activities serving a diverse client base, within a dynamic, expanding organisation. As well as supporting improvements in our client onboarding process and proposals management.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the commercial on-boarding of new clients and suppliers, including due diligence and approval processes.
Reviewing, negotiating and agreeing client and supplier contracts, terms and conditions, frameworks and amendments taking a pragmatic approach
Managing commercial risk and contract compliance
Supporting bids, tenders and strategic proposals
Advising project teams on contractual matters and dispute avoidance
Improving contract templates, onboarding and governance processes
About you:
Degree-qualified with strong contract law knowledge
Proven experience in contracts management (engineering / industrial services desirable)
Commercially astute, detail-oriented and confident in client-facing situations
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Willing to travel across the UK as required
