Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing, relationship management, and fundraising strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sustainability of our organisation through effective fundraising campaigns and community engagement.
Duties
* Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
* Utilise CRM software, including Raiser's Edge, to track donor interactions, manage relationships, and analyse fundraising data.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotional materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact.
* Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns, overseeing logistics, volunteer management, and donor outreach.
* Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and fostering a positive experience.
* Monitor fundraising progress against targets, preparing reports for senior management to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
* Stay informed about trends in fundraising and public relations to enhance the organisation's visibility and outreach efforts.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fundraising or a related field, demonstrating success in achieving financial targets.
* Strong marketing skills with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
* Excellent relationship management skills, with a track record of building rapport with donors and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in CRM software; experience with Raiser's Edge is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally.
* Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
