QA Technician
Location: Westerleigh
Join our Technical team as a QA Technician, where you'll play a key role in upholding the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and customer compliance.
About the Role
As a QA Technician, you will work closely with the QA Team Leader, QS Manager, and Technical Manager to ensure all products meet internal and customer quality standards. You'll support the maintenance of robust Food Safety and Quality Assurance systems while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
New to the business? No problem - we'll support your development as you grow into a key member of the QA team. In this role, you will be expected to lead by example, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and immediately report any risks or concerns to the Technical department.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the QA leadership team to ensure food safety and customer standards are consistently met.
* Uphold internal and external Quality Assurance standards across site.
* Maintain a strong culture of food safety and quality awareness.
* Escalate any deviations, risks, or concerns promptly.
* Support quality checks, documentation, and site compliance tasks.
Skills & Knowledge
Desirable:
* Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
* Committed to a \"right first time\" approach.
* Actively reviews processes and offers suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Basic induction training.
* Food Safety Level 2.
* General insight into the business (training will be provided).
