Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health Care Support Worker to join our team within the Acute Medicine Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate person who can work well under pressure. The ideal candidate should be either experienced or looking to gain experience within an acute hospital environment.
The Acute Medicine Unit covers: Acute Medical Assessment, Medical High Dependency Unit and Ambulatory Emergency Care. The AMU (Ward GA) admits acutely unwell patients from the community and Emergency Department. It is a fast paced and busy environment which is a very interesting place to work.
Any candidates should be able to work well within a large and diverse multidisciplinary team and must have strong written and verbal English language skills. Candidates should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop themselves and colleagues. We also expect all candidates to have excellent core values and a strong sense of team spirit.
This is a band 3 post, however we would encourage candidates who do not have the necessary experience to apply, where we can discuss at interview how we can best achieve the skills required.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa.
