Robert Half are working with a leading media entertainment group to recruit a Group Financial Controller for a 14 month interim contract. The key focus will be to develop financial strategies, processes and systems globally while leading a best-in-class team; this includes overseeing all financial reporting and operational finances globally and will report directly into the CEO. You will be based in Central London with 3 days per week in the office. The Role As the Group Financial Controller, you would be supporting with: Contribute to the operational execution of growth drivers and key business metrics to achieve strategic plan Act as chief liaison between the group on all financial accounting and compliance-related matters Lead all aspects of financial reporting and accounting initiatives, including business oversight, and internal and external reporting across publishing and licensing business revenue lines Lead the development and implementation of financial processes for SAP/Salesforce and other customer technologies Work closely with FP&A team on variance analysis and provide input on forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and cash projections Manage consolidation of Group financials from all markets / entities and monthly management pack, and statutory filings Lead the annual Group audit and subsequent statutory filings, including leadership of the annual external reporting process Ensure effective credit management and cash collection procedures in place. Own tax/transfer pricing, treasury matters Maintain a strong control environment across the Group and ensure reporting and controls infrastructure are fully compliant with company policies and legal requirements Lead and maintain a strong environment of continuous process and systems' improvements to continue streatmlining existing processes and to create more effective workflows Your Profile Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 3-5 years operating at the senior level in an SME Proven Group Controllership experience in a global media or tech environment. Expertise in SAP Business 1 and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, xlookups, sumifs,). Prior experience in a similar interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary. Compensation & Benefits A pro rata salary of between £110,000-£140,000 (dependant on experience) should represent fair market value for you.
