Payroll Onboarding Team Leader

Job Purpose
Your role as the Payroll Onboarding Team Leader involves leading and managing onboarding processes for payroll customers, ensuring a smooth transition when going live with BrightHR Payroll, while managing your team to success.
Responsibilities
* Oversee, manage, and lead your team, including conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
* Plan and execute project plans for payroll implementations, staying within budget and maintaining high customer service standards.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, organizing your and your team's schedules.
* Educate and guide customers on service and system features clearly.
* Ensure compliance with BrightHR Payroll SLAs and OLAs.
* Set and meet KPIs for your team and service.
* Maintain customer confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
* Update and maintain Local Work Instructions and process maps for onboarding tasks.
* Keep CRM systems accurate with key contacts and services.
* Schedule client onboarding sessions in a timely manner.
* Manage team absence and reallocate calls proactively.
* Monitor and report on productivity metrics daily.
* Conduct monthly 1:1s and provide on-the-job training.
* Plan onboarding for new team members.
* Report on trends and team performance.
* Perform monthly file checks and call audits.
* Achieve go-live targets of 16-20 onboardings per month, rebalancing workload as needed.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong people management skills with proven experience.
* Customer onboarding experience in Payroll or Finance (desirable).
* Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations (desirable).
* Experience with SaaS platforms, HR, and Payroll systems (desirable).
* Excellent project management skills.
* Ability to report team performance effectively.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to build positive client relationships.
* Accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
