The Project
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Manager to lead our Energy and Utilities division in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the energy sector, particularly the current transformation towards renewable energy and digitalization. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.
You will be responsible for:
* Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in the Energy and Utilities sector in the UK and Ireland.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
* Lead the consultative sales process, understanding client needs and proposing tailored technological solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
Requirements
As the successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on utilities and renewable energy.
* Proven experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.
* Strong understanding of the current energy transformation landscape, including digitalization and renewable energy integration.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the energy sector.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies.
