Administration Assistant
Hourly rate: £13.69
Location: Kettering Municipal Offices NN15 7QX
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9 to 5
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for an experienced Administration Assistant to join their busy Revenue and Benefits team on a temporary basis.
This is an office based role, with 1 day per week from home following a successful training period.
Main responsibilities:
* To provide clerical support to staff in both Revenue & Benefits and Billing & Recovery teams
* To open, sort and distribute post, recording the volumes of correspondence
* To scan and index documentation using the document imaging system.
* To despatch notices to customers.
* To ensure that payments received are allocated correctly daily.
* To ensure that regular and ad hoc reports are dealt with promptly and accurately.
* To process amendments to customer accounts.
* To ensure, wherever possible, that any potential entitlement / increased entitlement to benefits or supports is identified in respect of any liable customer
