CBC Health Federation is looking to recruit Pharmacy Technicians within the local Primary Care Network. We have an exciting opportunity for pharmacy technicians to join our supportive multidisciplinary team to improve the quality of general practice within the Network by enhancing the patient experience, maximizing safety, and contributing to resilience.
The successful candidate will be supported by other clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, with support from the wider Pharmicus team to enable individual and peer mentoring. There is also the opportunity to access and complete NHS England's accredited primary care pharmacy education pathway, if you do not already hold this qualification.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences
* Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Membership of APTUK or PCPA
Other
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience to change
* Ability to travel between sites and meet stakeholders
* Safeguarding Level 2 for adults and children
* Information Governance training
* Basic life support training
Experience
* Qualified, registered pharmacy technician experience in primary care, community, or hospital pharmacy
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, and legislation
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong time management and prioritization skills
* Ability to work under pressure and support others
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Teamwork and independence
* Knowledge of Primary Care Networks, General Practice, and evidence-based medicine
* Understanding of GPs and practice operations
* Good clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience with GP clinical systems (EMIS Web)
* Ability to analyze prescribing data and promote rational prescribing strategies
