A well-established, highly reviewed, and corporate estate agency is searching for a experienced Property Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and has strong knowledge of property management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance, handling maintenance issues, and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled efficiently.
* Coordinating repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
* Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Handling tenancy renewals, deposit returns, and resolving disputes where necessary.
* Responding promptly to landlord and tenant queries, providing exceptional customer service.
* Ensuring all properties comply with relevant legislation, including gas safety, EPCs, and licensing requirements.
* Managing arrears and ensuring rent is collected on time.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating property management systems.
Requirements
* Proven experience in property management, ideally in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of UK property laws and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well within a team and manage a busy workload efficiently.
* A proactive and professional approach to property management.
* Full UK driving license and access to a car (essential).
