Management Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the Finance team of a market leader in Wrexham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional to ensure the smooth operation of the management accounting section within a busy finance department. The successful candidate will use their financial expertise to meet stringent deadlines and support the company\'s financial health.
Day-to-day of the role
* Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for senior management and head office.
* Provide a full accounting service including MIS, monthly standard reporting, VAT returns, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Engage in problem-solving and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of the department.
* Produce materials for meetings and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
* Undertake project work as applicable, supporting the Finance team to drive initiatives that align with the company\'s vision and mission.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or finalist
* Strong varied background within Accounts
* Happy to consider a first-time mover from Practice
* Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise team tasks effectively and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
* Technically strong - SAP experience desirable
