Job Description
THE POSITION
The ILD Medical Educator works collaboratively with NHS stakeholders to co-create and deliver high-quality structured medical education and training for multidisciplinary teams managing patients with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) across secondary care. The role focuses on improving understanding of key clinical elements in ILD management to enhance patient care. Medical Educators combine specialist practitioner skills with extensive therapy area knowledge to deliver credible, impactful education that strengthens Boehringer-Ingelheim’s reputation for supporting healthcare professionals.
This is a 2-year contract covering Southwest and South Wales.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify Customer Needs:
* Assess educational gaps within Rheumatology and related departments and tailor content accordingly.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience:
* Create impactful educational programs that improve patient care through safe and effective clinical practice.
* Present clinical data accurately, fairly, and in a balanced manner to support knowledge translation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1. Work closely with Key Account Specialists, Medical Science Liaisons, and other internal teams to develop and deploy educational initiatives.
