Responsibilities
* 12+ years CRM experience with a minimum of 3 years in the public sector or Energy & Utilities Services domain
* PSS (Salesforce Public Sector Cloud) implementation experience is mandatory.
* Experience working on PSS cloud and good understanding of GDS is preferred.
* CRM/Salesforce solution experience is a plus.
* Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate them across disparate systems.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts, business models, and technologies.
* Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to solve business and technical problems.
* Serve as a Trusted Digital Transformation Advisor for customers.
* Lead thought leadership initiatives in the Public Sector/Energy & Utilities Industry, including delivering and supporting business process innovation workshops.
* Lead business process redesign, roadmap planning, and identify touchpoints in multi-cloud implementations.
* Assess customer business requirements, co-create future visions for success, and map solutions to Salesforce.
* Contribute to defining target architecture, phasing, roadmap, and transition architecture for clients.
* Provide domain expertise and guidance to define solutions on the Salesforce 360 platform.
* Assist clients in building CRM strategies and roadmaps, leveraging Salesforce Platform and supporting technologies for quick wins and strategic goals.
* Work with clients to understand complex business requirements, design, and configure solutions.
* Collaborate with Technical Architects, project teams, and partners to determine solution details and value.
* Review and guide design and infrastructure blueprints, proactively identifying risks and issues.
* Stay updated with industry trends, Salesforce solutions, and competitive offerings.
Summary
* The Solution Architect acts as an industry domain expert on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform, aligning it with enterprise architecture in the public sector and energy & utilities industries. They bring a broad IT background including business architecture, cloud computing, and software development, to structure Salesforce deployment and translate business strategies into solutions.
* The architect should have strong industry knowledge, able to discuss future trends and challenges, and provide Salesforce perspectives on addressing them.
* Using a consultative approach, the Solution Architect understands business and technical requirements, helping develop and refine sales strategies and Salesforce solutions.
* They are subject matter experts in categories such as business strategy, application architecture, data & information, integration, security, cloud computing, and analytics. They help determine which Salesforce technologies to leverage and design product roadmaps aligned with business strategies.
