An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rowley Hall Primary School part of the Elliot Foundation Academy for a full time permanent, experienced fulltime Assistant Head Teacher, Inclusions Manger (Including SENDCO)
We joined The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust in February 2025, this is a successful multi-academy trust specialising in the primary sector. We are building a thriving community of primary schools, that succeeds on behalf of its children and communities. We currently have three clusters of schools in the West Midlands, London and East Anglia which serve approximately 10,000 children and are supported by central and regional teams. The Elliot Foundations recent Ofsted report praised us as a ‘wholeheartedly inclusive’. ‘Deliberately non-hierarchical’, reflective and open minded’ academy trust.

We are looking to recruit a full time permanent Assistant Head Teacher, Inclusions Manager (including SENDCO) to start with us 1st April 2026, sooner if possible.
Responsibilities
* Is a highly skilled Primary Teacher and a strong line manager.
* Working closely and collaboratively with the Head Teacher and all members of the SLT Team.
* Has a realpassion and enthusiasm for inclusive education.
* Is self motivated, inspiring and energetic.
* Demonstrates positive enthusiasm, initiative, and flexibility.
* Has the skills to be an effective team builder, working well within a strong team.
* Holds a current NASENCo qualification or equivalent or is working towardsto achieve this qualification within 18 months of appointment. (evidence of this would be required at interview)
* Shares our commitment to working in partnership with parents, secondary schools, outside agencies, local authorityand our trust.
* Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Rowley Hall Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Shortlisted candidates must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, a fully enhanced DBS, checks from previous employment and online checks, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 20205 guidelines.
