GSL Education are seeking a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, specifically in the S11 district, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons in a structured and safe environment. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will guide students through the design process, support the development of technical skills, and encourage creativity through practical learning activities. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on design, materials, and practical skills. Promote safe use of tools, equipment, and workshop spaces. Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking. Provide clear feedback to support student progress and improvement. Maintain an organised and positive learning environment. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and experience working as a Design Technology Teacher. Confidence managing practical lessons and maintaining safety standards. Clear communication and effective classroom management skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
