Excellent and rewarding job opportunities have arisen for PSV Technicians to join Arriva, based at our Telford Depot.
As a PSV Technician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

The role will involve:
* Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
* Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
* MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
* Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
* Shift work required - Working 5 days over 7 (Rotating shifts between 06:00am - 14:00pm, 08:00am - 16:00pm and 14:00pm - 22:00pm)
Qualifications:
Requirements:
* Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle
* If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV
* Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
* Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance - Desirable but not essential
* Electrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable but not essential
* A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
* Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical
