Lead Fire Alarm Engineer – Full-time, Permanent
What You'll Be Doing
* Commissioning and verifying advanced fire alarm systems
* Acting as the technical authority for projects and escalations
* Auditing site works to ensure compliance with BS5839 standards and best practice
* Mentoring and training engineers, helping them develop their technical skills
* Providing technical support across projects and liaising with clients
* Representing the business at a senior engineering level
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer with a strong commissioning background
* FIA qualifications (Units 1-4 desirable) or equivalent industry certifications
* Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and BS5839 standards
* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
* Natural leadership ability, with experience mentoring or supporting others
* Clear communication and confidence in client-facing situations
