MGA Reporting Accountant
An opportunity for a qualified accountant to support financial reporting, consolidation, and MGA onboarding within a group insurance environment. The role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, strengthening controls, and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead financial onboarding of MGAs, designing scalable reporting and control frameworks
* Manage month-end close and produce financial reports (trial balance, P&L, balance sheet)
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and regulatory reporting packs
* Reconcile premiums, commissions, claims, and intercompany balances
* Analyse financial results and provide clear commentary on variances
* Act as a key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders
* Drive process improvements and support finance change initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience in insurance / MGA accounting and group reporting
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Excellent organisation and stakeholder communication
* Accurate, timely financial reporting
* Effective MGA onboarding with minimal issues
* Strong stakeholder and audit feedback
* Improved efficiency and controls
