Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Northwest London, who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a varied client base while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As Audit & Accounts Senior, you will manage a mixed workload, taking responsibility for audit assignments and the preparation of statutory accounts, working closely with clients and senior colleagues.
Your responsibilities as the Audit & Accounts Senior will include:
1. Leading audits from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio.
2. Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
3. Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior team members.
4. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to queries.
5. Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards.
6. Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service.
To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior role, you will have:
7. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
8. Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying.
9. Strong technical knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
10. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
11. A proactive and professional approach to work.
