Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for 2–3 projects at a time, overseeing themercial delivery of these projects and ensuring cost-effectiveness and viability. The role will entail managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents, as well as monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. QS professionals oversee contract administration, risk management, and value engineering to maximise profitability while maintainingpliance with strict regulations and security standards. They collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role offers exposure toplex, high-profile developments that demand precision, strategic thinking, andmercial acumen.
What you'll need to succeed
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong background working onmercial projects such as, education, healthcare, MOJ, MOD etc.
• Background in new-build or refurb/fitout is preferred.
• Strong technical expertise, including the use of industry standard software.
• Leadership and teamwork skills are essential.
