Cyber Security Analyst
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Warton, Preston
Duration 6-12 months contract (high possibility of extension)
Hourly Rate:£47.51 Paye or £64.09 Umbrella inside IR35
Working Arrangements: 3 days on site per week
BAE Systems is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the Air Cyber Risk & Governance team. This role will support cyber assurance activities across digital systems and projects, helping ensure security requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
* Support cyber assurance and governance activities
* Coordinate assurance requests and approvals using Jira
* Conduct initial cyber security assessments and pre-triage activities
* Support stakeholders with security documentation and assurance processes
* Coordinate reviews and maintain accurate audit documentation
* Assist with cyber risk management and continuous improvement activities
What we’re looking for
* Experience in cyber security, governance, risk or assurance
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with documentation and compliance processes
* Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
