Reach Truck Forklift Driver

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm - 8pm
We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Forklift Driver to join our team on a temp to perm basis. This role is based in Hungerford and offers a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
* Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
* Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
* Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
* Check that loads are secure and perform minor maintenance tasks on forklifts.
* Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
* Check equipment for damage and report any faults or incidents.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Forklift Driver.
* Valid forklift driving certification.
* Good understanding of modern warehousing practices and methods.
* Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
* Ability to lift heavy objects.
* High degree of attention to detail and diligence.
