Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with an excellent organisation, based in Greater Belfast, that is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the smooth running of the department.

* Salary: £32,000 -£35,000
* Hybrid working, with flexible hours
* Will be a stand-alone role
The Role:
* Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently for over 400 employees in compliance with UK regulations and company policies.
* Ensure timely payments to employees, including salaries, bonuses, and benefits, while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
* Calculate and verify payroll deductions, including taxes, NI contributions, pensions, and any other deductions as required by law or company policies.
* Liaise with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
* Stay updated on changes in UK payroll legislation and regulations, implementing necessary updates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, contributing to financial transparency and audit readiness.
The Person:
* 3+ years managing payroll for large teams, with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Proficient in payroll softwares such as Sage, Xero for streamlined payroll operations.
* Independent oversight of entire payroll process, ensuring smooth cycles.
* Strong grasp of UK payroll regulations, ensuring compliance.
* Meticulous with data integrity and confidentiality.
* Effective communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver for accurate payroll.
