We are looking for an Audit Manager to join an established Chartered Accountancy organisation in Carmarthen centre.
Position: Permanent
Salary: Up to 50k depending on experience

What you will be doing:
* Carry out audit and accountancy work, including tax, and supervise a small team managing accounts for both Corporate and Charity clients.
* Prepare quality accounts for review by R.I. (Corporate and larger unincorporated).
* Perform statutory audits on both Corporate and Charity clients.
* Supervise ad hoc work for clients.
* Maintain high standards of technical performance.
* Develop a value-added culture and promote new areas of work reporting to Senior Management (including Solicitors, Management Accounts, and Business Plans).
* Develop and train staff, with formalized six-monthly development reviews.
* Draft management letters for clients.
* Develop knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage, and develop Business Services with SMT.
* Liaise with clients on financial matters.
* Prepare budgets, agree fees, and manage work in progress, debtors, and losses.
* Report regularly to the senior team.
About you:
* You may already be in a senior audit role aiming for the next step up to Manager.
* You might be an Accountant looking to develop your career within audit; full training and mentoring will be provided.
* You should be ACCA or ACA qualified.
* 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice is essential.
* Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
