GSL Education are seeking a supportive and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. As a TA, you will play a key role in assisting teachers and helping pupils engage with their learning in a nurturing and inclusive environment. As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils in the classroom with learning activities. Assisting the class teacher in preparing and adapting resources. Providing one-to-one or small group support to reinforce learning. Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development. Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Communicating with teachers, support staff, and parents to help track pupil progress. To be successful in this role of Teaching Assistant, you should: Have experience supporting pupils in a UK school setting is desirable. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and flexibility. Possess good communication and behaviour management skills. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
