An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Family Assessment Centre based in Stafford. This is a key leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering the service's Statement of Purpose, ensuring high-quality family assessments, and driving outstanding outcomes for children and parents.
We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of child protection and family support services, and the ability to deliver high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of a Residential Family Assessment Centre in line with legislation, policies, procedures, and the Statement of Purpose.
Lead on safeguarding, ensuring the protection and promotion of individual rights at all times.
Develop and implement a service improvement plan to deliver high-quality, clinically informed practice.
Provide strong leadership to support and motivate the staff team, ensuring best practice and professional conduct.
Oversee casework, administrative functions, and performance monitoring to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Recruit, induct, supervise, and appraise staff to build a skilled and stable team.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary working and liaise with commissioning authorities to meet the needs of families.
Chair meetings, reviews, and discussions, maintaining professional standards throughout.
Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, health & safety, and regulatory requirements, including Ofsted registration.
Be part of the on-call rota and lead by example to maintain a safe, clean, and well-managed environment.Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
Significant experience working within a Family Assessment Centre or similar residential family support service.
Proven track record of leadership and staff supervision.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional ethics at all times.
Confident liaising with Ofsted and external agencies.Why Apply?
