The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the school's dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is a permanent HLTA position starting in September 2024. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
HLTA - Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting class teachers in the delivery of high-quality lessons.
* Leading small group interventions and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.
* Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
* Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Contributing to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
* Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
About You:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
