SeeByte, a global leader in smart software solutions for uncrewed maritime systems, is seeking a Software Engineer (C#) to work in Edinburgh or Bristol (Hybrid – 60% in office).

Salary: Up to £43,000

Key Responsibilities
* Work with SeeByte’s engineering project teams to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions worldwide, including design, implementation, testing and integration of SeeByte’s software solutions.
* Develop software solutions aligned to the needs of our clients as part of the project team.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Experience designing, developing and implementing modular software.
* Experience working in C# for Windows UI development.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with external partners and clients.
* Enthusiasm to learn new technology.
* Successful candidates usually have a degree in Software Engineering or a similar numerate discipline with a software engineering emphasis.
* Use of current programming language features (e.g., WPF for C#).
* Knowledge of Java.
* Experience with automating application deployment and environment configuration management.
* Software verification and deployment techniques.
* Understanding of defect tracking systems such as GitLab/Jira.
* Knowledge of Continuous Delivery frameworks (e.g., Jenkins).
