GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join a thriving school in Derby. This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging music lessons, nurture students’ creativity, and support them in developing their musical skills and confidence.
As a Music Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring music lessons across Key Stages.
* Teach a variety of musical skills including performance, composition, and theory.
* Encourage pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, and a love of music.
* Support school concerts, productions, and extracurricular activities.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to aid development.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and child welfare.
Requirements for the Music Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Music at school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for both practical and theoretical music.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with any gaps explained.
