Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a family friendly Dental Surgery in the heart of Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Duties
* Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
* Answer incoming phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette
* Manage front desk operations, including signing in visitors and directing them accordingly.
* Maintain organised records of appointments, correspondence, and other administrative documents
* Schedule meetings and manage calendars efficiently
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
* Support administrative team with various clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and scanning
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times
Experience
* Previous office experience in a dental or medical office is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all duties
* Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new software is essential
* Experience with data entry, clerical tasks, and administrative procedures is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
