We are looking for an experienced Gas engineer who also services air conditioning equipment to complete maintenance, repairs and PPMs in commercial and residential government properties, including fabric, basic electrical and plumbing tasks as required to ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards.
The role involves on-call rota, reactive and emergency tasks, and completing documentation and certifications with handheld devices. You will be on a call out rota to provide clients with full out of hours cover and assist other team members as directed. You will also be expected to source additional opportunities or works on sites and provide detailed information for quotes.
Responsibilities
* Complete maintenance, repairs and PPMs on gas systems and air conditioning equipment in commercial and residential government properties.
* Carry out fabric, basic electrical and plumbing tasks as required.
* Complete all relevant paperwork, reports, certifications and remedial works with timeliness and accuracy.
* Respond to reactive and emergency tasks and perform duties using handheld technology.
* Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support as required.
* Proactively source additional opportunities on sites and prepare quotes with detailed information.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Commercial Qualifications: CODNCO1, CCN1 CPA1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A, ICPN1; appliances CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1
* Domestic Qualifications: CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
* Experience: Experience in a similar role
* Skills: Strong understanding of statutory compliance in building services engineering
* Technical Proficiency: IT literate
* Driving License: Full Driving License
* F-Gas: Desirable (training can be provided)
* Security: This role requires an Enhanced Security Check
