Company Overview
A manufacturing site is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working in a fast-paced food or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdowns and ensure machinery is back up and running quickly
* Carry out planned maintenance across the production area
* Fault-find on both electrical and mechanical issues
* Work on equipment such as dicers, weighers, bagging machines, fryers, and conveyors
* Keep maintenance records up to date and maintain safe working practices at all times
Requirements
* Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills
* Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
* Level 3 engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent
* Ability to work independently and start quickly
Shift Pattern
* Rotating early and late shifts Monday to Thursday
* Shorter Friday shifts
