About the team: Our team is responsible for primary logistics in Europe, the team is specifically managing the bulk beer transfer from St. James's Gate to Runcorn and Belfast, averaging 40 moves per day. Additionally, once the product leaves the packaging line, we take ownership again to move it, loading into trailers or containers for dispatch to either the domestic market or one of our 120 export markets. Runcorn stands out as a unique location where we handle the dispatch of bottles, cans, and kegs. It features a Diageo warehouse with a capacity of approximately 2,000 pallets and a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse with 2000 pallet spaces. Alongside with Dublin, it is also the location where we managed the reverse logistics for kegs, our most sustainable packaging solution. About the role: This role focuses on ensuring seamless logistics operations at the Runcorn Production Site and associated 3PL warehouse(s), with a strong emphasis on compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Health & Safety Leadership: - Act as the primary advocate for Health and Safety across Logistics Teams and wider Operations, ensuring a culture where everyone goes home safe daily. - Provide direction and guidance on On-Site Health & Safety compliance for warehouse and export activities. 3PL Partner Oversight: - Oversee the operational and financial performance of on-site 3PL partners. - Ensure compliance and efficiency of 3PL operations. - Manage SLA contracts with on-site 3PL partners. Compliance and Regulations: - Ensure adherence to HMRC & CARM Compliance Direction and Guidance for on-site warehouse and export activities. Site Move Operations: - Manage the Move operations to ensure production flow is not negatively impacted by logistics areas. - Act as the Site Move Team Representative, maintaining a direct daily link to the rest of the Primary Logistics Network. Export Operations: - Manage end-to-end export operations for the Runcorn and 3PL warehouse(s). Inventory Management: - Oversee end-to-end inventory management operations for the Diageo and 3PL warehouses. Internal Link and Collaboration: - Serve as the main onsite link into Make and Plan organisations to guarantee end-to-end alignment. Continuous Improvement: - Lead logistics improvement projects. - Embody a continuous improvement mindset to drive change. - Ensure manufacturing excellence compliance. This role requires a leader who can not only manage complex logistics but also inspire a culture of safety and continuous improvement. On Site Health & Safety, HMRC & CARM Compliance Direction and Guidance for on-site warehouse, export activities and 3PL Partners Management of the Move operations to ensure production flow with no negative impact caused by logistics areas.? Overseeing on-site 3PL partners operational and financial performance?to ensure compliance and efficiency. Site Move Team Representative with direct daily link to the rest of the Primary Logistics Network. This role will cover all Logistics Areas for Runcorn Production Site and primary? 3PL warehouse(s). This is a dynamic and fast paced operational role. Leading by example and being the advocate for Health and Safety for the Logistics Teams & wider Operations; to manage the inventory operations and onsite Logistics Contract with the Logistics 3PL Partner; to be the main onsite link into Make and Plan Organisations to guarantee end to end alignment and embody a continuous improvement mindset to drive change. Health & Safety: Ensure everyone goes home safe every day. 3PL Management: Oversee on-site 3PL partners and their SLA contracts. Export Operations: Manage end-to-end export operations for Runcorn. Continuous Improvement: Lead logistics improvement projects and ensure manufacturing excellence compliance. Inventory Management: Oversee end-to-end inventory management.
