Senior Windows Engineer London / WFH to £130k
Do you have expertise with Microsoft Windows infrastructure? You could be joining a leading Hedge Fund, progressing your career in a senior hands-on role and earning significant bonuses.
As a Senior Windows Engineer you'll have a broad remit of responsibilities across the entire Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS and Windows desktop solutions.
You will proactively troubleshoot complex issues, devising innovative solutions and proactively introducing improvements, enhancements and automation. Working with a wide variety of platforms and programming languages, you will be a key player in delivering a reliable, high-quality trading environment as part of a diverse, globally distributed team.
WFH Policy:
You'll join colleagues in a friendly, informal environment with a causal dress code and flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week in a hybrid model.
Requirements:
1. You have an advanced knowledge of Windows Server
2. You have strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation
3. You have a good understanding of Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/Group Policy
4. You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
5. You're collaborative and keen to learn and share knowledge
6. You're degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above from a top tier university - Computer Science or similar technical discipline preferred
7. You have experience in a high frequency / low latency environment, this doesn't have to be finance, e.g. games, telcos
