The Role:
The school is seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and suitably qualified Teacher of Geography and History to join its team in September 2025. While the role is focused on Geography, experience or flexibility to support History at Key Stage 3 would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3–5, with strong departmental support and access to fieldwork and enrichment opportunities.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong subject knowledge in Geography
* Demonstrate a commitment to making Geography engaging and relevant for all learners
* Have experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and preferably at Key Stage 4/5
* Show genuine passion for the subject and for inspiring students
* Be confident in using ICT and data to support planning and assessment
* Bring energy, creativity, and commitment to a collaborative departmental culture
