The Position:
We are looking for a Internal Communications and Marketing Officer to lead on UK external marketing activities that engage people with Vulcain through supporting with advertising campaigns, recruitment initiatives and our social media. Creating engaging and design led content that helps us stand out on key platforms.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Internal Communications and Marketing Officer will include:
Internal Communications and Engagement
* Develop and maintain an internal communications plan in line with company objectives and timelines, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive actions and achieve plan.
* Design, coordinate and lead on our company communications, including monthly all staff meetings, company updates and away days. Maximising on our reach to those working in client roles.
* Support leadership and HR teams with communication around initiatives, updates, and cultural messages.
* Lead internal engagement campaigns in collaboration with the HR Manager on topics such as wellbeing, values, social events and staff recognition.
* Use feedback and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and suggest improvements.
* Supporting the Operations Director in maintaining the company-wide SharePoint page
* Supporting with any other internal communication as and when required (e.g. staff events, safety bulletins etc.).
* Arranging company-wide events such as our annual Vulcain Summer and Christmas parties.
External Communications and Marketing
* Develop and deliver external communications plans and campaigns aligned to business goals.
* Support the Recruitment team with advertising campaigns, including designing of content that is considerate of the target audience.
* Provide marketing support to projects or teams as needed (e.g. flyers, templates, promotional content).
* Manage and develop our company social media platforms such as LinkedIn, including leading on exploring opportunities where we could have a larger social media presence on alternative platforms to increase presence.

Preferred Profile:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven experience delivering internal communications or similar campaigns.
* Basic graphic design or content formatting skills.
* Experience using communication tools such as SharePoint, Canva, Adobe or Teams.
* Ability to create engaging, audience-appropriate content across different platforms.
* Confident working independently and managing priorities across teams.
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
* Background in marketing, communications, or employee engagement.
* Understanding of tone of voice, branding, and inclusive communication practices.
