About the Role
Yorkshire Talent Partners are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Employment Solicitor to join our clients Doncaster office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role with genuine flexibility, a supportive working culture, and the chance to make a significant impact within a growing department.
You will take responsibility for building upon an existing employment law offering, with full support from the business. As the department grows, there is real potential for progression, including opportunities to head up the department and become a Director or Partner.
We welcome applications from experienced Employment Solicitors as well as from more junior Solicitors with backgrounds in family or litigation who demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to develop within employment law.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters for both employees and employers.
* Advise on a full spectrum of employment issues, including contracts, grievances, disciplinary matters, redundancies, settlement agreements, and tribunal claims.
* Build and develop the department, contributing to its growth and future strategy.
* Deliver exceptional client care and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Support business development initiatives and help strengthen the firm’s presence in the local market.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
* Manage your workload effectively through a hybrid working approach that supports both the needs of the business and your personal working preferences.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in employment law or have a background in litigation and a genuine interest in developing into employment law.
* Possess excellent communication and people skills, with a friendly and positive approach.
* Be motivated, professional, and capable of working independently when required.
* Enjoy building relationships and contributing to the growth of a department.
* Be organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
* Embrace a flexible, hybrid working style.
