Key Responsibilities
Delivering mechanical / MEICA design across water and wastewater projects
Working on treatment works, pumping stations, CSOs, and pipeline systems
Designing and specifying pumps, valves, pipework, and plant equipment
Supporting equipment sizing, selection, and supplier engagement
Reviewing technical submissions and contractor designs
Supporting site activities including installation and commissioning
Coordinating with civil, EICA, and process teams
Producing specifications, reports, and design documentation
Requirements
Experience in mechanical / MEICA design within UK water frameworks
Background working on treatment plants, pumping stations, or network upgrades
Strong knowledge of pumps, pipework, and plant equipment
Experience working with contractors or on site delivery
Understanding of AMP projects and framework delivery
Chartered or working towards professional chartership
Strong technical and problem-solving capability
