Your new role Be part of a dynamic store thats almost fully goods taken, with only a few beds and mattresses remaining. We receive multiple deliveries every week, including discontinued items, customer returns, unique creations, and ex-showroom display pieces. As a member of our team, youll help merchandise and showcase these exciting products on the shop floor, creating an exceptional shopping experience for every customers home. In addition to sales, the consultant plays a key role in ensuring items are sold correctly the first time. Many products have imperfections, so notes are added to each order to keep everything clear for the customer. Upholstery cannot be sold directly from the showroom floor only via shared baskets so accuracy and adherence to process are essential. For example, when a sofa is sold, it is usually wrapped immediately, labelled with the order number, and stored in the warehouse ready for collection. The consultant is responsible for wrapping the item, completing the order details, and assisting the customer with delivery arrangements, following the TRUST journey. Colleagues always support each other throughout this process. Workload is fairly shared between the morning and evening teams, and everyone collaborates on wrapping and handling to ensure safety and manageability. You may be assisting with the handling of Sofas and armchairs Dining tables and chairs Beds and mattresses Accessories, artwork, and smaller items from other showrooms Helping customers load purchases into their vehicles Customer connection: Youll create a warm and welcoming environment, building natural connections with customers and truly listening to what theyre looking for, delivering expert advice to every customer, every time. Passionate about product: Well teach you everything there is to know about our products, so you can confidently recommend the best options and demonstrate your expertise to our customers. Sales success: Youll guide customers through the buying journey, identifying and recognising what they are looking for through really great questions to help them find the perfect fit for their home.
