Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Manage food preparation and production processes to guarantee quality and safety standards.
* Oversee kitchen operations, including cooking, food presentation, and serving.
* Lead and motivate a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
* Conduct training sessions for new employees on food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock of supplies.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant supervisory position.
* Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking.
* Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Prior experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Previous experience as a barista or in beverage service is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
