We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Carer to provide care and support for our client in Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will live in the client's own home for two weeks at a time and provide all necessary care and support during this period. This will be followed by two weeks off, during which the carer will have the opportunity to rest and recharge.
JOB ROLE:
* Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Administering medication according to the client's needs and medication schedule.
* Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the client, taking into account any dietary requirements.
* Assisting with mobility and exercise as required.
* Providing emotional support and companionship to the client.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment for the client.
* Liaising with healthcare professionals as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals, ideally in a live-in setting.
* Relevant qualifications and training in health and social care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassion, patience, and a kind and caring nature.
* The ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
* A valid UK driving license would be advantageous.
OFFERS:
* Competitive Weekly Rate of Pay from £800 per week
* £40 per week Food Allowance
* Rest Period - 2 hours per day
* Accommodation provided in clients own home when on shift
