* Encourage positive routines and engagement with education, training, employment, and community activities.
* Work in partnership with social workers, key agencies, and family members to ensure holistic and joined-up support.
* Respond to incidents or crises in a calm, professional manner, ensuring safeguarding and well-being at all times.
* Keep accurate and timely records, including risk assessments, support plans, and daily logs.
* Ensure the accommodation is safe, clean, and welcoming, promoting respect and responsibility among residents.
* Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Experience working with young people in a residential, supported living, or youth work setting.
* Strong understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable or at-risk young people (e.g. mental health, CCE, CSE, substance misuse, offending behaviour).
* A trauma-informed and non-judgmental approach to support.
* Excellent communication, empathy, and boundary-setting skills.
* Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and evenings as part of a rota.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or Youth Work, or equivalent.
* Experience supporting care leavers or working in semi-independent accommodation.
* Driving licence (if outreach or transport support is required).
What We Offer:
* Free live-in accommodation and utilities
* Competitive salary and holiday entitlement
* Supportive, team-focused environment
* Regular supervision and training opportunities
* Career development and progression pathways
