About the Role This position is open to women only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The client needs a female Personal Care Assistant because there are times when the client may be undressed. A female worker is required to maintain the client’s dignity, comfort, and privacy, in line with the client’s personal preferences The role involves supporting a vulnerable lady, so the ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, calm, friendly, and trustworthy. The client will teach on her condition, including severe OCD. A driving licence and access to a reliable car are essential, as driving is a key part of the role. The candidate must also like cats and be willing to drive them to vet appointments (a pet carrier is provided).
