Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Master’s degree in Pharmacy
2. Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
3. Diploma Pharmacy Practice
4. Independent prescriber
Desirable criteria
5. MSc in Clinical Pharmacy Practice
6. Evidence of formal management training
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
7. Significant clinical pharmacy experience in Rheumatology
8. Experience of managing a small team
9. Excellent ability to manage change within the pharmacy department and within medical and nursing teams to drive service improvements
10. Experience of working as a specialist pharmacist and management of High cost drugs
11. Demonstrates strategic thinking
12. Experience of identifying training needs and delivering education and training programmes for all clinical staff groups
Desirable criteria
13. Evidence of publishing in a peer reviewed journal
14. Evidence of collaborative regional and national work
15. Experience of delivering research projects and influencing changes in practice
16. Evidence of managing and developing a pharmacy service or section.
17. Experience with drug expenditure reporting
