We are recruiting a forward-thinking IT Procurement Manager responsible for procurement excellence aligned with the IT sourcing strategy, supporting the Group’s IT objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Vendor Management for IT, you will manage end-to-end IT procurement, analysis, reporting, and vendor relationships. You will procure across Software, Hardware, Services, and Telecoms with a spend scope of over £40 million.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with IT sourcing strategies.
2. Lead supplier evaluation and selection processes following Kingfisher IT policies.
3. Leverage group scale through collaboration with the Commercial team and IT stakeholders.
4. Identify cost-saving opportunities and execute benchmarking initiatives.
5. Monitor IT sourcing trends and market developments.
6. Ensure proper authorization and due diligence for procurement requests prior to contracts.
7. Build strong stakeholder relationships to facilitate demand understanding and procurement decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in IT procurement, especially in software and SaaS.
* Experience in a large, complex environment preferred, with a track record of delivering procurement benefits.
* Experience negotiating with international suppliers and managing contracts from below £100k to over £2 million.
* Strong vendor management skills to optimize current contracts.
* Excellent stakeholder management abilities to foster internal and external relationships.
